This is a medium to difficult work for 5 octave marimba with 4 mallets. The piece explores 3/4 time beginning in a Viennese Waltz style and slowly morphing into a jazz waltz, with most of the music using a left hand accompaniment to a right hand melody. Care must be taken with the jazz feel as to not over do the swing feel while maintaining a solid groove.
