Composer’s note:
This piece is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Leslie Trone Chapman. I have converted her name into a sequence of arrows; vowels and consonants being a ↑ or ↓, depending on the player. Each player will play the arrow sequence according to their individual specifications on the key.
