As can be inferred from the title, the piece is composed on the subject of love and its many incarnations. Containing the love song \u201cPlaisir d\u2019Amour\u201d by Jean Paul Martini, \u00a0the piece shows the many rewards and challenges present in any kind of love with both lyrical sections and more stereotypically intense \u201cAbe\u201d sections. This is one of the most fully realized and well rounded pieces Keiko Abe has composed.
