Jacob Druckman — Animus II
Animus II is a concert-theatrical work for one female singer and two male percussion players. It’s subject matter is the sensuality of ensemble playing amplified to the point of erotcism. The performance of the work should unroll as the celebration of a sybaritic ritual; the modern rite of the concert blending with, becoming confounded with some ancient ritual initiation of a maiden.
